About Our Club

Our group is made up of 6 busy moms. We agreed to aim to spend $10-$12 per meal (x 6 meals). And our meals feed a minimum of 6 people since the largest families in our group are families of 6.

Once a month, we each spend about 2-3 hours in our own kitchens making 6 of the same meal. Maybe it's chicken pot pie, sausage & tortellini soup, tater tot taco casserole, etc. We make it 6 times over. (Double the recipe and cook it 3 times). Then we freeze it in gallon size freezer bags and label it with instructions for reheating.

Then, one day a month, we meet for a freezer club playdate. We each bring 5 identical frozen, homemade meals - leaving one at home for our own family (if they didn't already eat it before it froze... ha!). Our kids play together, we talk together, and then we trade our meals. We all leave with happy (tired!) kids, and a cooler with 5 new meals for our families to enjoy! It's that easy!

Read through the tabs above to learn more tips and secrets for starting a club, information on what freezes well and how to easily do it, and don't forget all our awesome recipes! We only post the recipes all our families loved, that freeze great too!!

If you start a freezer cooking club, tell us about it! We'd love to help you along your way and hear about your successes & blessings!
